AC single phase motors need a capacitor to run. It is wired to the auxiliary phase of the motor. Value needed for our fans expressed in µF is mentioned on our catalogue pages and web data sheets. 

The capacitors are usually supplied seperately from the fans, except some fans already pre-wired.
