A tangential fan (also called a crossflow fan) is a type of fan that uses a cylindrical impeller fitted with many thin, closely spaced blades.
The airflow passes through this fan perpendicular to the rotor axis.
Air is drawn in along the entire length of the cylinder.
This type of fan produces a wide, flat, and uniform airflow along its full length.
The phase-shift capacitor is mounted and wired onto the scroll casing.

ECOFIT tangential fans are equipped with a scroll casing made of electro-galvanized steel and an aluminium impeller with a diameter ranging from 80 to 133 mm.
Their motors are standard single-phase AC 230V 50/60Hz external rotor motors.
