A centrifugal fan uses centrifugal force to propel the air it has drawn in.
Air enters through the center of the fan, on both sides at the impeller side.
As the impeller rotates, the air is thrown outward by centrifugal force.
The scroll casing (housing) then allows the air to exit the fan perpendicular to its point of entry.
The pressure generated by centrifugal fans is higher than that of axial fans. Centrifugal fans allow air to be transported through ducts even when there is some resistance (pressure loss). They are effective at overcoming obstacles in ductwork.
Frames or mounting brackets are used to securely fix the fan to a duct, partition wall, or support. They prevent movement, excessive vibrations, or disconnections during operation.
ECOFIT double-inlet centrifugal fans are equipped with galvanized sheet metal impellers with diameters ranging from 120 to 180 mm.
They are fitted with single-phase AC external rotor capacitor motors, 230V 50/60Hz or 115V 50/60Hz, or with EC (electronically commutated) motors, meaning electronically controlled to adjust the rotational speed according to the actual ventilation demand.
The scroll casings (housing) of our fans are made of black painted sheet metal or galvanized sheet metal.
In addition to the standard fan models presented on this page, many options are available. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your specifications, and we will define the ventilation solution best suited to your needs.
