A centrifugal fan is a type of fan that uses centrifugal force to move air.
Air enters through the center of the fan at the impeller side.
As the impeller rotates, the air is thrown outward by centrifugal force.
The air then exits the fan perpendicular to its point of entry.

The pressure generated by centrifugal fans is higher than that of axial fans. Centrifugal fans allow air to be transported through ducts, even when there is some resistance (pressure loss). They are effective at overcoming obstacles in ductwork.

They are robust and suitable for intensive use.

The scroll casing (housing) directs the airflow perpendicular to its entry into the impeller. It is made of plastic, black painted sheet metal, or galvanized sheet metal.

The brackets or frame that complete the assembly allow for reliable and airtight mounting onto the ventilation duct system.

ECOFIT single-inlet centrifugal fans are equipped with impellers made of galvanized sheet metal or plastic, depending on the model.
The impeller diameters range from 108 to 200 mm.

They are fitted with AC external rotor single-phase capacitor motors, 230V 50/60Hz or 120V 50/60Hz, or with EC motors electronically controlled to optimize fan operation according to demand.

The fans presented on this page are our standard models. We also develop custom solutions for specific requirements. Please feel free to contact us.
